  • Applications in textiles, hard goods, and promotional products.

3. Equipment Needed (10 min)

  • Printers (Epson converted vs. Epson F-series).

  • Sublimation inks.

  • Heat presses (flat press, mug press, tumbler press, ovens).

  • Accessories (heat tape, butcher paper, wraps).

4. Blanks & Materials (5 min)

  • Explanation of sublimation-ready blanks (polyester, polymer-coated).

  • Popular items: mugs, shirts, bottles, puzzles, keychains.

  • What does not work (cotton, uncoated ceramics, etc.).

5. Basic Workflow (10 min)

  • Step 1: Design (software like Canva, Photoshop, Corel).

  • Step 2: Printing (mirror image, ICC profiles, paper settings).

  • Step 3: Pressing (time, temperature, pressure basics).

  • Step 4: Finishing (cooling, packaging, quality check).

6. Common Beginner Mistakes (5 min)

  • Using the wrong materials (cotton or non-coated surfaces).

  • Not checking time/temperature/pressure settings.

  • Ink clogs from not using the printer regularly.

  • Ghosting due to movement during pressing.

7. Wrap-Up (5 min)

  • Recap of the sublimation process.

  • Emphasis on the importance of practice and consistency.

  • Where to go next: starter kits, online resources, local suppliers.

8. Questions & Answers (15 min)

  • Open floor for participants to ask about their own needs (ex: “Which printer is best for me?”).

  • Troubleshoot theoretical situations (ex: “Why do my mugs look faded?”).

  • Suggest next steps for those who want to go hands-on.

👉 By the end, participants will understand sublimation from start to finish, the equipment and blanks required, common pitfalls, and how to get started with confidence.
